Faculty Advocating Collaborative and Thoughtful Carotid Artery TreatmentS (FACTCATS)

An international team of multi-specialty, multi-disciplinary experts working to reduce the incidence of stroke and other complications of heart and arterial disease.


Our Aim

The ongoing primary objective of the FACTCATS is to analyse and share all available knowledge (evidence) regarding how to best prevent stroke associated with carotid arterial disease and identify research priorities. We aim to use our combined multi-speciality and multi-disciplinary expertise to reach the best possible interpretation of the available knowledge to maximise the patients chances of achieving the best outcomes.
